BIO


Hannah is a Boston-based contemporary dance artist. She graduated from Wayne State University in 2023 with a BFA in dance and a minor in Design. Hannah spent her training years dancing in Indiana at Expressenz Dance Center where she had the opportunity to begin her professional performance debut in 2018. With Expressenz, she performed with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra in their shows “Yuletide Celebration,” and “An Evening in Paris.” She also performed on America’s Got Talent Season 14. Throughout her time at Wayne State, Hannah worked with renowned guest artists such as Bosmat Nossan, Wanjiru Kamuyu, Marc Spaulding, Hanna Bricston, and Madison Hicks. Hannah performed in the musical “Cabaret,” as the character Texas and was appointed the role of dance captain. As a choreographer, Hannah has performed her pieces in Salem’s Art Festival, ArtLabJ’s Detroit Dance Race, and WSU’s spring showcase. Within her dance practice, Hannah navigates paths of movement that explore musicality, shapes, impulse, and texture; often finding herself in improvisational structures that illuminate the necessity of play. She is inspired by nature, film, architecture, and color.
